Remembrance Day was a day for us to pause and reflect with the children. We read stories about soldiers who fought for our country, we had sprigs of rosemary around for us to smell and explore as we talked about ways to remember others who are no lon We celebrated Grandparents Day on Friday and shared lots of fun activities with all our visitors. The children sang songs, shared scones and banana muffins with their visitors then did craft and games. It was so wonderful to see the different generat Halloween fun with making witches potions, dress up disco, creating our own decorations of ghosts, spiders and pumpkins to share with each other. We had a day filled with laughter and joy as each child walked in, in costume and helped us to celebrate Happy Grandparents Day to all the amazing Grandparents and Grand family and friends who take on the role for our little ones. Thank you to all the amazing teachers around the world for supporting our children. HEI Schools St Leonards had the honour of hosting one of our amazing Finnish Mentors for a week. Annukka spent several days interacting with our team and children guiding and supporting our teaching practices and building on our HEI knowledge.
